Default 1995 XJ Vibration

I was coming down a trail when my fan shredded the shroud upon opening my hood seeing the engine slightly tilted to the left I thought I had a broken motor mount but back in the shop it was discovered that the bolts from the motor mount to the block where sheared off. I replaced the motor mounts with good off-road units but now I have a vibration that I can feel and hear. I am wondering if I possibly bent something from the engine to the transmission. It seems to vibrate more in gear than when in park then slightly goes away at higher speeds. Anyone have an idea of what's going on? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

If the engine was noticeably tilted then you've likely got a mushed transmission mount and your exhaust down pipe is resting on your transmission crossmember. Plus, off-road mounts tend to vibrate a little more than stock

Thank you did not think about off road mounts creating vibrations. The mount on the tranny seemed to be ok and the exhaust is not touching anything.

Which motor mounts do you have?

I am not sure the manufacture they were advertised as off road bomb proof.

They don't look to have as much rubber as the stock ones. They're stronger and keep the engine in a better position but will probably rumble. My Brown Dogs do that but I just live with it. Some riders can't stand the vibes.

It may be the new mounts causing the vibration if so that is better than it being something mechanical from the engine being tilted.
