Right. I looked earlier. I do not have a 493AE. I have a 277AD. It would work for your application, I think. Let me know if you're interested in trying a different one.

Appreciate the response...realized that the mirror itself just "popped" off the mechanism, so popped it back on. Thanks and I'm sure I'll have something else soon, part of the joy of Cherokee ownership! Haha!

Looking for manual front window guts. Driver and Passenger side. Buddy bought 98 cherokee doors and put them on his Comanche and wants to convert the windows to manual.
