I'll be taking another for my other XJ. Are they as much benefit to later models and install similarly? Both my XJs are Renix, but my friend has a '97 and may want one.

As far as I know the install is exactly the same. And yes, if he has stock headlights it is a huge difference. They help with aftermarket lights as well.

The headlight wiring didn't change throughout the life of the XJ. You'll see just as much benefit on an '84 as you would an '01.

will this harness work for a 1996 jeep grand cherokee?

if so i am interested.

also will it work with halogen or led bulbs or does it matter.

will the 96 if it has factor fog lights require that alteration like the 97 to 2001?

I am pretty sure it will work with a GC as well, a lot of the systems are the same. Cannot gaurentee that statement though.

Any type of bulb, yes.

I think the factory fog issus is only an issue on the 97+ XJ.
