The four bolts hanging from new mount don’t line up with the holes on the cross member. The old mount and new mount seem to have the same bolt placement?
hi! I hate to bug you but, seeing as you build tranny mounts, maybe you can give me a little insight as to why I can’t get my cross member back on?

When you installed the new one how far off were the bolts into the cross member? If you have not realized the transmission will move while you have it elevated on a jack. Meaning you have some play in getting it to sit down on the cross member. Maybe check that and see how much off the bolts are with the cross member holes and see if you can move the transmission just enough for it to pop in. I had to do that on mine when I installed my new long arm cross member with old mount and used my foot as leverage. I did place the trans down on the crossmember before doing so allow the jack to be pulled out of place. I just pushed it with my foot the direction it need to go and popped in.
The bolts may look like they mount up exactly the same but you have to measure the mounting holes on both mounts where they attach to the transmission and then also measure the bolts on the mounts that attach to the cross member. For instance measure from center of one bolt to center of the other and see if they are exactly the same as the old one vs. new.
One other thing I had to to do with mine and it is probably not the reason for yours once my trans dropped into my cross member I realized the bolts would not drop down far enough to get the nuts on the end. I found that my transmount had a exhaust bracket on it and I had to modify that to allow the transmission to drop in place. Before doing that it would just hang up on the exhaust bracket thing.
I don't know if this makes any sense to you but without being under your jeep looking at the setup with new mount and how far off it is I can't say for certain. XJWonders might be able to help but is that a mount he built, you built or bought some place else?

By the way my cross member was bolted into the unibody before I attempted to bring down my trans so please be careful when doing so. This way it will allow your cross member to be in the position it needs to be in and you just lower trans down and see how far off it is. I hope you can just give it some push and it will drop in.
Notice how your top part where bolts come out is to the left in the picture vice the right some. Depending on how you place that up in the transmission it may be off if you mounted incorrectly.

There's multiple reasons and because I didn't make that so I can't really comment on their fitment.
Sometime it help to bolt the crossmember to the mount first then to the frame. Or other way around. Etc

Howdy everybody. I'm ceasing production on both my motor mounts & transmission mounts.
I have 4 pairs of motor mounts, two centered transmission mounts and two offset mounts left.
I'm gonna keep two sets of motor mounts & one centered and one offset mounts for my MJ and future jeep project
So that mean I have two sets left that ll be up for sale.
$150 per set. (For a pair of motor mounts and one trans mount). I don't think I will seperate those.

Have you decided to give up on these? If so would you consider building Peterbilt hood hinges that actually work? Trust me... Peterbilt owners are not as tight as Jeep owners are. I can try to send you a factory hinge to measure and the market links if you are interested my friend.
