FS[MidWest]: 784/703/710 Injectors
#259
Just got a set of 784s installed. I had original injectors that had been recently flowed and cleaned with new filters. The difference in idle/startup/part throttle quality is night and day. Quick shipping, great clean injectors, dirt cheap, can’t ask for much more. Headlight harness made factory lights noticeably brighter as well. Thanks for the great parts.

703s run smooth, but mileage is still pretty bad...
I bought a set from Jeff and I have nothing bad to say about that. They came quickly and were packaged well.
Installation went smooth, maybe 40 minutes or so.
I reset my ECM in the process after a test run and my check engine light and occasional skip went away.
MPG on the first tank was about 13.5, second went up to 15.5, third was 15.8, but now it’s down to 12.8. Driving conditions have been about the same.
Does anyone one have any thoughts on how to improve mileage on my 1996 4.0?
I already have new plugs and wires, old injectors and fuel rail were super clean.
She drives great.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
