Get TJ Rubicon bearing retaining plates at the dealership or online. They were about $7 each the last time I checked (2 year's ago).

This is definitely well worth it, drums suck! If I keep my jeep, I'll be hitting you up man.

I am not sure. I would bring one of yours in & match it up.

You got any kits available in the next couple days? My brothers rear driver wheel just fell off as he watched his drum roll into the bushes haha. He's fine but the brakes are jacked. I told him he might as well upgrade if you have anything available soon?

I don't have any right now. I'll try to get you a kit on Friday.

I apologize if this question has been beaten to death on this thread but does it matter what year liberty I get my passenger side cable from? Also will the drivers side cable from the Grand Cherokee reach okay with a 6 inch lift?

I bought an '04 liberty cable on Amazon for a great price and it was a direct bolt on. I'm sitting at 5.5" and had plenty of cable to spare.

I've seen one Liberty cable at the yard. It was about 8 feet long. No joke.
The ZJ cable will never reach. I guess you figured out that your stock cables are too short. You can "lengthen" them, under the Jeep at the lever, by getting one ZJ cable & cutting each end to about 12 inches. Then cable clamp them together at the desired length. It takes some patients to get them perfect.
Mine still need attention. LOL.

Thanks Jaster! What cable are you running on the passenger side with that lift and disks?

Oh and Big David, way long is better than way short hahaha right? But anyways I haven't done the swap yet, I am going to the junk yard on Friday and I'm hoping to get everything in one swoop so I have been reading this thread and others to figure it out and that has been my only question! I can not wait to see the difference in braking because right now my rear drums do absolutely nothing so I figured why not upgrade!

Hey Big David I wanted to let you know (if no one else has mentioned it) that this will not work on a non c-clip Dana 35 because the backing plate bolt pattern is different. At least it is on my Dana 35. Once I figured this out it kinda ruined my weekend because I have been looking forward to it for a while but it's whatever just wanted to warn others.
