Dana 30 & 35, Rims & Tires
Front Axle: Dana 30, Open Diff, 3.55 Gears, New Calipers, New Ball Joints, New U-Joints. Axle is in great shape and was removed from a 2000 Cherokee that I bought last fall. The U-Joints were destroyed and the Lower Ball Joints were questionable. We refurbished all the suspect parts, installed new calipers since they weren't retracting smoothly, and drove it for a couple months before committing to the axle swap. Would make a great replacement axle for your daily driver or light duty trail rig. $200 negotiable.
<<SOLD>> Axle Shafts: Bought these out of of a junkyard as spare trail shafts. The U-Joints were non-existent, so we rebuilt them and kept them in the back as spares. Never used, $125 negotiable.
Rear Axle: Dana 35, Open Diff, 3.55 Gears, Drum Brakes. Removed from same 2000 Cherokee. Still under the truck, but will be removed this weekend. $100 Negotiable.
15 Inch Aluminum Wheels: 15X8 inch rims, set of four, polished aluminum, used. $300 Negotiable
<<SOLD>> 33 inch BF Goodrich: Used 33X12.5X15 inch used BF Goodrich tires. Good tread left, but some weather cracking on the side walls. $300 for a set of four. <<SOLD>>
PM or text me (586-713-2847) for details or photos

According to it's VIN Sheet, yes. The guy I bought it from said it was a 35 and under close inspection the only identifier I can make out is a casting mark on the back of the gusset between the housing and the axle shaft that says "35C". Now why anyone would swap out an 8.25 for a 35 I may never understand. The diff cover between the two of them look exactly alike. So unless there is another way to tell them apart, everything tells me its a 35. I may pop the cover and check out the internals to make sure, but that's what I see thus far.

Hmmm, interesting. I will have to pop the diff cover and take some measurements. When I saw the "35C" cast into the gusset rib on the pumpkin, I just assumed the Previous Owner wasn't lying <<<<Big long shot there.....and it had been swapped. Perhaps it's an 8.25 afterall. When I get back from vacation I will tear it apart and do a little better job advertising it.

I believe the front is a high pinion, I can't access my photos from work, but PM me your e-mail or phone and I should be able to text them to you. I wasn't really looking to part out the assembly, but what kind of price were you thinking for the Housing?
Also I see you are in New Mexico, do you have a means of shipping it, or will I need to freight it to you from Michigan?

Okay, thanks, I will check it out. The U-bolts on the axle did not leave gracefully, and seemed pretty hodge podge from the previous owner. But I can just as easily verify the outer tube diameter of the axle shaft, that will be the same dimension I assume, yes?
