Disclaimer: Still waiting on insurance, but it is sitting in my driveway. If you want a title with it, this will have to wait until that's settled, hopefully in the next couple weeks.

Truck WAS really nice before it was hit. Still TONS of good parts on it, especially if you're looking for hard to find 97-01 2dr parts.

I am selling this ONLY as a parts truck, you could probably hack it up for a good wheeling rig from here, but i wouldn't expect to ever put street miles on it again.

New parts all have less than 5,000 miles on them.
1) Daystar motor and trans mounts
2) Putco relay harness
3) Autopal H4 conversion (passenger side bucket is messed up, but light looks fine. I make no guarantees)
4) Nankang FT-7 235/75-15 w/ 4 replacement certs

Less than 10k miles:
1) Heater core
2) Radiator
3) Entire A/C system
4) Ignition tune up stuff


This has been very well maintained in my ownership, as well as the previous owner (Father-in-law). No mechanical defects whatsoever at the time of the accident, doesn't use/burn/leak oil enough to even show on the dipstick in 3000 miles. Transmission shifts well, brakes work great, truck rides great, motor runs well, 23mpg highway. Passenger window regulator repaired about 2,000 miles ago. Interior overall in very nice condition. (Grey/black.)

We DID drive this home from the scene of the accident, and might drive to your location, but i will make no guarantees. The moment the front tires are out of my driveway, you're on your own.

I'll vouch for this truck. it was in excellent condition prior to the incident. this is one of the nice ones everyone gets jealous of, even me. it's sad to see it in such disrepair.

 

I would put this in part outs also.

 

Thanks man, but if i have to actually do any parting out on it, then i'm going to keep it and scavenge it to convert my 2000 to a 5spd and go nuts building that one. Problem is that sounds like a lot of work and much as i loooooooove XJs, i'm really beaten and deflated over what happened to this one, and it just won't feel the same.

Blue 2000 is my wife's DD. We're getting her a 2003 Montero to drive, and i'm taking the blue XJ. I haven't yet decided if i'm going to keep it or sell it. If i have to tear down the red one, then i'm keeping everything and building it all into one cool truck.

A good part of me says i should just get my own Gen2.5 Montero for an Overland build, because i'm not super interested in crawling.
