93 cherokee 4.0 auto $1,500
I am selling my 93 Cherokee automatic. It has 287000 miles but runs good. It had a smoking problem when I bought it so I put in new valve seals and that's all good now. The ac works but the heater core was bypassed by the po so I would assume that leaks. It needs new t-case bushings so it wont go into 4-lo now. Has the good axles c8.25 in rear and Dana 30 in front. The pass floor has been replaced but the drivers is still pretty rusty. Neutral safety switch was bypassed to so it needs one of those. Asking 1,500.Located in southern Delaware. Let me know if you want pics of anything specific.

If I bring home another Jeep project, my fiance is going to make me sleep in it. Wish I could help out, this would be a fun project for an enthusiast! Great bones to start from it looks like. GLWS

I was stationed in Dam Neck Virginia when I was in the Navy. I used to make the drive pretty often.
I know it's a serious trip for an old jeep, but do you think it could make it?
I ve been looking for another XJ since I couldn't bring mine back from Pearl Harbor.

I can't guarantee anything, but it has not given me a reason to think it won't. It's in better shape then when I bought it, and it starts every time.

Well if you think it's a bad idea I understand. Pushing 300K miles? How's the body besides the floor pans?
I'm up for being convinced lol

The body's in ok shape. As you can see from the pictures the right front fender is wrinkled. I think the po ran into something. The paints not great but it's better than my 96. When I was in the engine for the valve seals it looked clean. It's a good base to build something out of. It's never done anything that worries me. I think you'd make it.

It's not renix but its before obd 2. It does get hot after like 20 minutes of idling but the e-fan kicks on and brings it down. I think it just needs a new fan clutch and shroud on the mech fan.You will need new tires soon, 2 are getting thin and the other 2 aren't very aggressive.Does have a good spare though.
