1996 Cherokee $1000
1996 Jeep Cherokee for sale, $1000 has 4.0 AW4 automatic 4 speed, np231 transfer case, high pinion dana 30 and Chrysler 8.25 (swapped in) 29 spline with disk brake conversion. The Jeep has 176000 miles on it, runs and drives just fine, recently put in a new fuel pressure regulator and bosch fuel pump. It also has brown dog off road rubber motor mounts and a stainless steel aftermarket header on it, along with IRO 2.5" add a leaf in the rear. So that's the good part, now for the bad part/backstory. This jeep was lifted and I loved it, then I wrecked it, not a terrible crash but the passenger side uni body frame rail was ruined, so I cut it out and welded in a homemade replacement piece, I also built a new bumper, replaced the damaged mechanical fan with a Volvo electric fan and the alternator bracket was broken so I built a new one that mounts higher up and threw in a ZJ alternator, I also removed the AC since the condenser got ruined in the accident. After all this I continued driving the Jeep for over a year and put over 12000 miles on it. Then I found a different jeep swapped the lift parts, tires, and such over to it, now I have no use for this Jeep and am putting it up for sale, some of the highlights of it are, the drive train as previously mentioned, the interior (minus the headliner) is very nice IMO and the body panels/doors from the front fenders back are great. This would make a great parts jeep or even a street vehicle with a little work. If interested feel free to PM me or text me at 443-77one-1785.

Tough crowd I guess, how about I swap stock motor mounts back in and lower the price to $800, or best reasonable offer. This thing really would make an excellent drive train donor.

Yes it's safe to drive, especially if you are just doing trails. Bare minimum for work would probably be shackle bushings, I actually have some that might work, and the fuel tank seal needs replaced, so you currently can't put over about a half tank in it.

If you want you can pm me with what other work you think is needed. If you can get it to where it can safely ride the trails, I would be interested.
I am of limited skills when it comes to mechanics, so I am not looking for projects.

this is a killer deal man. I just bought myself something similar as a project to work on for just a bit more. Honestly wouldn't mind adding this as well of you weren't so far from me hahah. Always fun to have something to tinker around with.
