A sad day but my wife has finally convinced me to give up the old trusty XJ in favor of something she's willing to drive with the kiddos in it. Don't have space to keep the Jeep around d much longer but, can't stand to see the old girl go to someone who won't appreciate 'er...the Jeep, that is.

Anyway, everything you need to know is in my build thread from my signature below but this is a rock solid '00 XJ Classic that is setup as true wheeler with the professional parts and install that has also allowed it to be used as a DD going on 6+ years.

Not without a few quirks (happy to describe to ant would be buyer) and rust spots but has not been wheeled hard by any means and has it where it counts. Never once has this vehicle let me down or left me stranded. I think the parts and labor alone I have in are worth over $6000 but Im a realist and would be glad to see her go for $3000 cash to a good home.

Again, all the info, pics and such anyone should need below. Please PM if interested or I'll watch here as well.

I would throw in the current mileage but otherwise GLWS! I'd definitely buy that thing if I had the room!

Once you get some sleep could you get pics of the bad rust spots underneath?

Sure thing, can get some shots for you today - currently -12 out but once we get a midday warm up I'm on it.

Can tell you offhand the "worst" of it is on the rear side rails (from salt spray) and near the leaf spring mounts in the rear which I had repaired / welded some time back to reinforce for a hitch mount.

Took a few shots of the main rust spots - none are catastrophic in my opinion after living in the NE most my life but make your own conclusions:

Rear passenger-side frame rail

Driver side side rail

Rusty area where I had patch and welding done to install hitch mount

Maybe the worst spot IMHO - this is directly under the driver footwell, a common spot in my experience.

Some surface rust on the bumper and bull bar.

Bonus front shot after two back to back 9-10" snowfalls...started without a hesitation at -10 degrees

And before I forget, here's a shot of the tire tread depth - these are the second set of Treadwright "Wardens" I've run and love them. I think I bought this set last Winter:

Well, told the wife I'd throw the Jeep on here for a week and, if I didn't have any bites, then turn to official "farm car" status. So, looks like this XJ will be put out to pasture on a steady diet of hauling firewood off the woodlot for now!

Thanks for playing...
