Update: Does need a new water pump I think. Still working but runs hot, flushed the system and there are not major problems. Just don't feel like doing the work myself. I would suggest trailering it just to be safe if you do buy it.
Since this picture was taken, I've replaced the tie rod ends with new ones. All are 1 ton. Mostly rust free. Outside of minor surface rust. Brought this jeep from out west so pretty much rare that it has ever seen salt in its life. This hole opened up about a month ago now. Found it while I was giving it a wash.
This Cherokee has been a great vehicle in the time I've owned it. Its been babied since I got ahold of it, previous owner took fantastic care of it as well. This has been my 4th jeep to date and as much as I love this vehicle I'm looking into getting into the world of bikes. This has pretty well just been a toy for me since I got it and as such I've decided to let it move on to someone who will care for it and use it for more than I do, enjoying it as much as I have. Overall the jeep is at around 250k miles, however the engine itself has been swapped and only has about 147k miles on it and runs like a dream. Things I've recently done on it include typical upkeep and maintenance, new front calipers (dual pistons), sway bar relocation with new bushings, tire rotation, and new tie rod ends on the steering. The winch works perfectly and is rated for 9k lbs. Lightbar up front works as well and is wired into center console. Front and rear bumpers are custom jobs and include a swing out rear tire mount that locks into place when shut.
Jeep is paid off, clean title.
Only issues I'm aware of:
Front Passenger door has recently been discovered to have fallen victim to the drain failure rust spot (will show in pics)
Drive side seat leather is split open (leather seats were swapped in by previous owner)
Needs extended sway bar links to replace the janky makeshift ones I have on it.
Headliner is, as of this spring, finally giving up and doing the bit where it kind of looses its grip on the insulation and flutters about.
Discoloration on hood paint, repainted it 3 years ago discolored but 9 layers of enamel automotive paint so its still good.
Extras that come with it:
Original I6 block, stripped down already. (Don't know if its of any use for a re-bore or not but kept it after piston 3 exploded in it, still ran when pulled)
S10 rear leaf springs for swap I never got around to doing
Original Chrome door handles
Extra set of halogen headlights
Rolling Engine Dolly
Tow package ready for install, just needs hardware
I also have the Hanes Manual and original owners manual, 2 keys and 2 fobs. All work. For what its worth.
(Might still have the original crankshaft as well)
