Price is negotiable....

My wife may want a new vehicle this year and I will have to sell my toy to afford it. I was planning to supercharge it next year but I'll have to wait to see if I have any interest in this thread. I will not sell it for less than it's worth so I'm posting it here for advice/offers. I have a 2000 cherokee sport that I bought back in 2012 bone stock. I lifted it at 95,000 miles and currently it has 104,000 miles on it. I have done several modifications since I bought it to include painting it, complete overhaul of transmission, and replacing old rusty parts. The transmission has a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty and was done at 98,000 miles due to the transmission line at the radiator that came off on the highway. I installed a massive transmission cooler aftermarket and had them rebuild the transmission. It cost $3,500 to rebuild the transmission. I have since replaced the a/c compressor and every seal in the engine. It used to leak so much oil now it's much better. New radiator installed and I have a new one in box as well.

New paint color is Rock lobster PKT
JK rubicon wheels custom powdercoated and painted. Tires have 90% tread 32". I can clear 35's but don't want to waste the tires. Also speedometer is accurate with speedometer gear installed.
Header
Header back magnaflow exhaust
Cold air intake
62 MM throttle body
Durango steering box upgrade
ARB Bull Bumper
Front mounted Badlander 9000 lb winch
Nates 4x4 rear bumper with tire carriers
Dana 30 low pinion new wheel bearings and 4.88 gears Yukon gears
Dana 44 rear axle with LSD 4.88 Yukon gears
Rough country 4.5 lift with control arm drop brackets Sway bar quick disconnects
Rear trailer hitch
Overhead console
Cloth seats( I had 2 sets of leather and didn't want them)
Custom black jeep emblems ( door is tagged limited)
Bushwhackers fender flares
Jeep mat in the hatch
Jeep box that stores stuff near the hole(rare) key does not work tho because I never rekeyed it.
Factory CD player
Well kept maintenance records.
New yellow top battery purchased 1/2015
Limited door panels all functions work window lock auto up down etc

Not installed
Body armor
Front and gas tank skid plate
Extra radiator
2 extra FOBs to get coded to the jeep. ( have 2 coded)
2nd set limited door panels
Set of oem limited rims with crappy tires. These are silver icons in good shape.

The bad
The jeep came with ABS and I disabled it by removing the dana 35 and removed the relay to the light. Stops fine actually better than it did with the 35. If you want to make the abs work then I can show you what parts you need which is tone rings and time. I never did it because it stops just fine.

Either a burnt up part time bulb or the $20 part in the transfer case is broken so the dash doesn't light up but you can feel the driveshaft so it's in 4x4.

Grey overspray on the side of the seats when I painted the jeep. The jeep was patriot blue and I primed it before painting the door jams so that how the overspray happened.

$3500 for the Trans?!?!?! I have a dozen with half of them being 100-150k that shifted excellent. They never go bad and I am scrapping them. I sell them for $80!

I didn't pay for it firestone and my idiot buddy who was driving it did so the cost was irrelevant to me. Got a free trans rebuild as I saw it.

lololol. i see dirt, a burn hole, rust (surface), over spray, rough country, short arm lift, etc. i just took my contacts out, but i think im seeing $10500?! people work on things, have a lot of time invested, get attached to their possessions, and think that their stuff is worth soo much. really you have a $6-7k jeep here. im not trying to be rude, but if you want to get rid of it, price it accordingly. you never go full, well ill stop there. have fun with showing people your rig. it is beautiful for sure but drop the price like $4k and it will sell.

I Understand your stance, however some people want a DD vehicle that can play. I won't own a vehicle that I can't take on a trip across the country because I move with my job every other year. I just got a third set of tires and rims 34.5" tires.

RoyalXJ 04-03-2015 10:22 AM

If it's a dd or play vehicle you don't want rough country parts. Quality is key.

Shannongeo 04-22-2015 02:34 PM

Price lowered to $8,000 OBO

Why is it badged as a Limited when it obviously isn't?

Shannongeo 04-24-2015 03:14 PM

I did it since I was doing a limited conversion. Everything but the leather is done and I had two sets of leather and chose not to mess with the power seats since I prefer manual. Sold the seats instead. Those aren't original cherokee or 4x4 emblems. Those are from a SRT -8 grand cherokee.

Good luck with the sale my friend. If you're not interested, then move on and keep the comments (unless they're constructive and helpful) to yourself.
