Updating my super old post from last year. For sale is my 2000 Cherokee XJ. Build Thread: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/20...-build-229946/ I have since installed the 3 link long arms, replaced the entire AC system, installed brand new front bumper, new fog lights, onboard water system, air system, dual battery system, Engel fridge/freezer, brand new BFG K02s, had both custom length Tom Woods (front and rear) drive shafts rebalanced, and picked up a set of used beadlocks to be installed.

I've been around the forums a while and have put a lot of time, research, and money into building this jeep. I've owned it for about 4 years and have made a lot of progress with it since then. I have had the jeep worked on at both Chaos Offroad and World Tour Offroad for 90% of the work done (if you're local you know this means superb quality). It is currently on a completely rebuilt 3 link rock krawler long arm setup, 4.88 gears, brand new BFG K02s 33s, cut fenders, completely rebuilt rear suspension with full leafs, and an awesome custom full length roof rack with ARB awning, HELLA lights, custom mountain bike rack, Dirtbound Offroad front bumper completely powder coated, and more. I don't take this xj offroad as most of my time is spent driving it places to go mountain biking or camping. My goal was to design it as an overland vehicle and less of an offroad vehicle. However, the suspension gives you the flexibility (literally) to do whatever you want with it.

I have a ton of money invested in the jeep to get it to this point. Reason for selling is that I picked up a Tacoma and don't need 2 vehicles.

The mods list is below and I have receipts for almost everything.

The Good:
160k-ish miles
Completely rebuilt rear suspension, remove all frame rust, weld custom brackets, install shackle brackets for better angle, install shims for driveline angle correction
Change transfer case fluid, change crank shaft sensor
Change front and rear yoke seals of transfer case
OEM ball joints, U joints, wheel bearings, front differential seal, new exhaust, AC service, recharge shocks, rear differential service
Install and replace valve cover gasket
Rusty's steering stabilizer
Replace front coil springs (4.5" Rubicon Express), replace shock bolts and sway bar link bolts
Install clayton offroad front track bar
Weld custom mounts to roof rack for offroad lights
LED rocker switch for offroad lights
Create wire harness for offroad lights and install lights
Boostwerks Engineer HD 231 TC shift Linkage
Alloy USA Slip yoke eliminator kit for NP231
Monstaliner exterior black paint
Install thicker gauge headlight harness, install new headlights
H4 head light upgrade (clear lenses for huge light output improvement, 100% legal)
Hella 700 Lamp Kit (offroad lights)
Install tow hitch
Synergy ball joint kit upper and lower
u-joint assembly spicer 1310 series (5x)
Custom brackets for awning on roof rack, replace upper and lower ball joints, straighten driver's side 'C', 4 wheel alignment, wire lights for roof rack, paint roof rack
Shim rear differential to correct pinion angle
Change gear oil (75w-140 royal purple), G2 diff covers (painted black)
Synthetic motor oil, oil filter, lube chasis, trouble shoot eletrical issue in tailgate
Hitch wiring kit from Quadratec
Install Smittybilt XRC rear bumper spare tire swing out carrier
Replace both seals on transfer case, adjust exhaust to not rub on cross member
Replace thermostate housing, alignment, replace antifreeze
5 33x12.50 steelies on BFG KO2 tires
Swap in rebuilt NP231 transfer case
Smittybilt XRC Rear Bumper with swing out tire carrier
Cut fenders
Custom roof rack with complete floor, custom welded mountain rack, and off-road light tabs
Completely rebuilt rock krawler 3-link suspension with all new joints (not installed yet)
Fatmat (sound deadener) all interior door cavities, entire floor, and rear hatch
Herculined entire floor overtop of fatmat as extra layer of protection from interior water
Prepped and painted monstaliner exterior (black)
Brand new black carpet through entire cab (front and tail gate), with additional mass backing option for even more sound deadening
4.88 Gears and rear lunchbox locker + proper install
ARB awning 2500 with tent attachment and mosquito net attachment (one is a full room the other is a netting)
Grand Cherokee tie rod/drag links
Custom relocated front sway bars for 3 link long arms

The bad:

The jeep does still need a few things to be 100% complete. They are:
Rebuilt title (not totaled title, "rebuilt" as it was in a very small accident prior to me owning it)
Patch rust under rain gutters on roof
Finish the interior swap - mismatching front seats at the moment
Install and refinish beadlocks--jeep has highway vibrations bc of crappy steelies and poor balance
Build storage system for dual battery and air compressor system
Respray roof rack

I am asking $11,000 for the jeep. It currently sits in my garage and it isn't getting driven. I would love to see it go to someone that will take it across the finish line of the build and use it for many more years! I am located in Vienna, VA 22180.

Now comes with completed sandblasted wheels. Going to have them painted and installed soon unless someone buys the jeep first (that way they can chose the color they wish). Otherwise, I'm going dark bronze on them.
