1998 Jeep Cherokee with 5" lift, Auto, 4wd.

Needs new motor or at least a new head. I haven't been able to work on it to tell which it needs.
I bought it last year and drove about 2000 miles before it started knocking.
It has 5 brand new wheels and tires with less than 1000 miles. Wheels are Cragar d windows and tires are 33x12.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with kevlar reinforced sidewalls.
It has lockers front and back. It does run and will most likely take you home but it does need engine work.
It also has an in dash cd/dvd player with flip up touch screen.
Little to no rust but does have some paint chips and scuffs from the trails.


I broke my back 2 years ago and can no longer do the work it needs which is why I am looking to part with it. I am looking to trade for a box truck that is mechanically sound. It doesn't need to be perfect but I cannot do any major work and cannot afford to pay a mechanic right now.

Hey how's it going my name's Dominic from Batavia up my Aurora. I know you said you wanted a box truck, but thought I would ask if you would be interested in a good running 2000 xj with new 31's and a basic 4" lift fairly clean. Or how about selling it out right? If so what would you be looking to get for it?

Dominic, I would definitely be interested in trading. I'm starting a new job in a couple weeks and need transportation. Since posting this I have pulled the motor and its in the back of the Jeep. If you are still interested in trading even though I pulled the motor can you PM some pictures and info on the 00? I have AAA so I could have it towed to your house if that would help.
