1996 Jeep Cherokee Country
  • 4.0L
  • Automatic
  • NP242
  • 1.75" Rocky Road lift (spacers front/shackles rear)
  • 30" BFG AT tires with lots of tread remaining
  • Power windows and locks
  • AC (blows cold)
  • Custom front bumper, rear bumper w/tire carrier, rock sliders (all built by me)
  • Cobra CB (not currently installed)
  • AM/FM/CD
  • Recent power steering pump, water pump, thermostat, front track bar
  • NO RUST!
  • Has minor door dings, chips, etc. but still great for a 21-year old vehicle! It does have a small dent on the lower left quarter from a wheeling adventure.
  • Front seats have seat covers (vinyl torn), rear seat in good shape. No cracking or sun damage to dash, door panels, etc. Headliner and overhead console have some wear and stains, but no peeling and isn't falling down.
  • All glass in good condition (windshield replaced last year)
  • Runs and drives very well.
What it needs:
  • catalytic converter (catalyst loose and rattling) and muffler (has crack) - quote of $250 from Leon's in Tucson to replace. Neither affect performance but the rattling converter is annoying.
  • Left front door power lock actuator doesn't work.
Will include NP231 transfer case and correct shifter - had planned to replace but never got around to it.

I looked for a long time to find an XJ that wasn't trashed. The woman I purchased it from said she her ex-husband was the original owner. I don't want to sell it, but the financial situation requires me to do so.

$4000 FIRM - if I can't get that I'll keep it and sell a kidney.:icon_cheesygrin:
