I'm selling my 95 Cherokee Sport. I6 engine, NP231 T-Case. I'm leaving for Ft. Jackson in a couple months and need to start getting rid of stuff that I can't afford to move with me. The Jeep will need to be towed. It runs just fine but I sold the custom bumper so now it needs a new steering box spacer ($30). There's also something binding in the front end and I have no idea what it is but it only happens while turning. It just started a week ago. $1,000 obo.
210xxx miles (or somewhere around there). Engine burns zero oil, runs extremely strong and starts up every time. Leaks a bit of oil from the oil filter adapter I think.
Transmission is strong and shifts perfect.
4WD works
Things I've done:
Front brakes
Front rotors
2 new wheel bearings up front
Front drivers side axle shaft & ujoint.
ZJ steering swap
Plugs/Wires/Cap/Rotor
Valve cover gasket
Oil adapter O-Rings (but they're leaking yet again I think)
Rear Main Seal
Oil pan gasket
Radiator
Thermostat
Headlights
The Bad:
It's a 20 year old Wisconsin vehicle so it has rust. The rockers are gone but the floor pans are solid.
I started painting it bed liner black then got bored so it's only half done.
There are some dents and dings throughout the vehicle.
There's a small crack in the windshield from what appears to be a small caliber bullet from the previous owner. It doesn't leak, isn't all the way through and hasn't gotten any bigger so I just keep it there to increase my gangsta cred.
Hood release is broken so you need to use a pair of pliers to open it. I have a new one, just never got a chance to install it.
Doors lock but don't unlock from the outside (was quite fun when I found that out the hard way).
Interior could use a good cleaning. I don't smoke but I think the previous owner did so the smell still kinda lingers.
It was in a minor accident before I purchased it so there's a ding in radiator support that I never pulled out.
I might consider parting this thing out but nothing will be sold off until the engine, trans and tcase is picked up and paid for. I'd prefer to sell it whole though.
