Question Next drivetrain to replace...

Already replaced rear shock, and had to replace front right broken sway bar link. I replaced the left sway bar link, and of course removing the top bolt, the part broke in the process.

Looking for a thread that might suggest which parts should consider to start replacing in which order if there is a common order.

1998 Jeep cherokee classic, with up country suspension. 1" extra lift than stock and skid plates.

Starting to hear a small squeak now from front end when turning sharp. And not the squeak from tires on pavement.

Want to be on the ball for what I should start to replace next… like leaf springs etc. After removing sway bar link from removing top bolt, assures me there are other fatiqued metal parts that will def need looked at or replaced.

Thanks for direction to already existing thread, or start a new one if one does not exist. ABout 156,000 miles on the 98 XJ.

Thanks for any feedback.

Still was curious about which drivetrain parts break first and in which order. Approx 156,000 miles so far. On second heater core, starting to smell fumes again and seeing buildup on windshield, so will prob replace that with a better brand before winter also.

ok 1) you posted in the for sale section 2) there is no order in which things wear out or break down you could install a new anything do it incorrectly it will fail quickly or if it was somehow a substandard part it will fail early parts dont have a life expectancy 3) Search is your friend when looking up how to replace something or finding someones similar experience with a noise or such 4) if your expecting a detailed list of when to replace what sell thid jeep and go buy a 100k mile warrantied new car

1. Oops, didn't notice for sale section.
2. My rear shock went out, then front sway links, then front sway bushings.
3. I always search before i post.
4. I'll never sell my jeep.

Thanks
