Default Trade - My Bilstein 5100s for yours

Hey guys. I am looking to trade my front 12" travel Bilstein 5100 shocks for your 10" travel 5100 shocks. My current setup doesnt have enough down travel to use a 12" shock to its full potential so I would like to go back to a 10" shock so I can get more up travel instead. My shocks currently have about 8000 miles on them and are in perfect condition. I am not looking for any money, just a straight trade (we each pay our own shipping). Your shocks will need to be in about the same like new condition as mine. Let me know if anyone wants to swap shocks. If not, I will put them up for sale.

If you end up having to purchase, I found the best deal for 5100 10" travel for front of XJ with 3.5"-4" lift. $55 each from Amazon warehouse.

Thanks Steve. Looks like a pretty good deal but they only have 1. I get a pretty good deal from my buddy at the local off road shop so I might just go that route if I cant find another that cheap.

14.98" (15") Collapsed/ 24.6" Extended on those Amazon 5100s, that doesn't sound like enough. I know you have a similar setup and I just replaced my shocks that were 15" Collapsed/ 26" extended because I was bottoming them out on the extended side. Have you measured to see what you'll need?

I believe the current shocks are 28.5 extended 17 collapsed. Made for a 5-6" lift. If the collapsed length was 2 inches shorter, that would be near perfect. I have room to stuff the tires. With my current setup, it stops about an inch before the tire would start to tuck.
