ZJ/XJ fuel lines - interchangable?

ZJ/XJ fuel lines - interchangable?
long story short i pulled my motor the end of april for a rebuild, reinstalled a couple weeks ago and accidently broke the fuel lines that goto the fuel rail, i went to the bone yard and got a set of lines off of a ZJ, they were stainless braided instead of the plastic that was on my xj, now trying to fire my motor i have no fuel pressure on the rail
