Default ZJ V8 steering on an xj.

Im sure this has already been covered but i've done a bit of searching and havent found a straight forward answer. I just found the v8 zj steering really cheap so I bought it. Since its a different style setup than the xj can I just get zj spndles and swap the xj ones for a direct fit? That way I can run my other parts other than the spindles and steering. What other parts would I need to do or things I would need to do?

The Tie Rod will bolt up but then there is no mount on the tie rod for the drag link as pictured. There needs to be two mounting points on the passenger side for it to work. Maybe this setup is from a newer Grand Cherokee?

Got on google and it shows this setup on the newer body styles. 99 and up I think is when they changed them. But anyways anyone ever do this swap on a xj?

yup that looks like the steering on the wj. if your going to do that swap you need the wj knuckles, rotors, calipers and a spacer you weld onto the knuckle and a few other things i cant remember right now. and if i remember correct the wj steering you have there is to long for the xj front end so you would have to cut and sleeve it
