ZJ springs to level out a XJ
My wife has a 99 Cherokee Limited that has an ARB Bull Bumper and 9,000lb winch. With the added weight it lowed the front of the XJ about an inch and the ride is kinda sloppy now. I have a 97 ZJ 4.0 parts Jeep with the Up Country suspension, my question is; if I put the ZJ front or rear springs on her XJ front will it level it out or raise it too much? and will it stiffen up the front (as far as ride quality)? I haven't found any answers in the search.

The Up country spring might give you 1/2 to 1" of lift , provided your XJ did't leave the factory with those springs anyway.You cant use the ZJ rears in a XJ. XJ and ZJ use the same front springs anyway.

Zj Upcountry V8 coils (front) good for 1-1.5" lift. The V8 was heavier so needed stiffer springs to support the weight. Put those springs on 4 or 6 cyl's for a little boost.

The V8 coils are the same coils you got if you Ordered a XJ or ZJ with factory HD suspension. IE, FACTORY installed towing and off-road packages, rather than dealer installed version of same.
