Default XJ Radio Install

I just got a double din radio for carplay and a backup camera. I also got the double din kit from jeepcables.com. When I went to install the radio, the plug from the Jeep would not fit into the plug on the radio. This is my first time doing anything with stereos, so I'm not sure what to do. Are there adaptors or anything I can buy to get the radio to work in my xj? Worst case scenario I have to return it and order a different radio, but I am really impressed with this one and would love to have it in the Jeep. Thanks.

Yes, you generally will need an adaptor. My advice is to contact Crutchfield. They can help with anything.
