XJ dana 44 ring and pinion
I am looking into buying a used dana 44 out of the 1980's jeep xj that came stock with the towing package. I am curious if anyone on here knows whether or not that dana 44 took a special ring and pinion made just for that axle (similar to the rubicon 44s) or if they are the same as a standard dana 44 out of most trucks and older jeeps? Thanks for the input

the xj D44 is the same as the center section as a rubicon D44 which is the same as all the other D44 LP out there
