Hey guys I've been looking around and can't really find too much on this. First off any pictures would be great. I plan on staying with 31s as much of my driving is city.

What all needs to be replaced other than just the lift? Upper control arms? T case drop vs sye? Track bar? Tie rods etc. I wanna just do it all at once. The right way and replace any necessary parts.

Too much lift IMO for the small tires..but none the less. Here is my first jeep.. 1988 4.5" lift, 31" KM2s.

As far as what you need:
Coils, Shocks, at least lower arms, Adjustable Trac bar, Extended Brake lines, Extended Sway bar links, may need a SYE (dont cheap on a TC Drop), Leafs/shackle (id recommend a 3" pack and a 1.5" drop shackle).

And... for what its worth. Here is my 98 right after I lifted it (4.5 RE super flex) with little bitty 30x9.50s on it. (Ran them till I found 33s)

Lol my bad buddy. I appreciate it! So iron rock off road has a sye kit to add to a lift kit for 99 bucks, hack and tap. Worth it?

5"s with 31"s

I have an sye w/ 4 degree shims , adj track bar, lower control arms..

I'm still on the shocks from my 3" RC kit. I have yet to bottom one out

Its 5"s.. its the wheels with low offset that makes it look like that.

I have a 3" RC lift with 2" extended shackles and a 2"coil spacer.

Nah that's 5, my 2 door sits the same on 31's.

I want 33's but don't wanna spend the $$ on re-gearing. If your gonna do it do,it properly... If you think XJ's are slow, wait till you jack them with bigger rubber.
