I thought it was a good idea and did not find anything here explaining why it was not...

after a lot of searching I thought I would be the guinea pig, not such a good idea after all.

I found a good deal on a set of pace setter headers and thought if they fit on the wrangler 2.5 they should fit on my cherokee.
they did until you get to the joint from header to the down or under pipe, the joint leaves no room for the front drive shaft.

so for any of you searching these threads I hope you find this one.

short story I am on a very limited budget, trying to build a good all around cherokee that is very light with good mileage. my cherokee is my daily driver, I am planning light crawling and alot of exploring in the san bernardino hills and desert. she came with a 2.5 with only about 20,000 miles on the motor so I am going to run it till it croaks then drop in a 4.0 I will build with all the nice after market stuff i can afford over time, unless this 2.5 will do all I want before it's end...
