wiring for trailer, never had hitch
so i just put a hitch on my cherokee and i need to wire it up for a trailer. i wanted to know if there is anything special i need. someone told me i will need a converter box because the turn signal and the tail light are seperate. i am going to put a 6-wire plug on it if that makes a differences. anyone done this before?

Go to the trailer section at your parts store. There should be plug n play wiring kits available. They basically get plugged in between the tail light bulbs and the wiring harness. No cutting or splicing required.
