Default wiring, sensors, oil, and more advice needed

1. I have 5 flood lights on my roof rack and currently 2 of them are as bright as all 5, since they're wired in series. Currently I'm running 10g wire to them. But soon Im going to rewire them to be all 5 wired directly to the battery and use the switch with the negative side. (so its just completing the circuit and doesnt have all of the amp-age going through it) So my question would be what gauge do you guy recommend to get the brightest light possible with out being big as **** like 0g or something? haha

2. So I have changed all of my plugs/wires/dest cap/t-stat etc the 'normal' tune up stuff. So I'm not looking at 02 sensors and other thing that I could change. So I know jeeps are picky so what brand would you guys recommend for 02 sensors and what else should I change to do more than just a basic tune up? Adjust the the little sensor on the throttle body? because I think I completely effed up its position cleaning it a wile back.

3. So I need to change my oil and I think I have a Fram filter. So what kind of oil would you guy recommend for a big *** lifter tick upon start up when cold. Going up to a heaver weight?

4. I need brakes from the front, so rotors and pads. Can I just go with generic name and save some money? Or is it really worth the extra pesos to get the top of the line ones? (I have 4.5" on 31s)

5. I know I'm forgetting something, so I'll ask it later when I remember. haha

Thanks in advance,
-Zack

o2 sensors, get NTKs. These were used in our jeeps when they left the factory. You can find em on rockauto.com for a pretty good price.

For the oil filter, get rid of that Fram filter and get either a NAPA gold or a Wix. You can put in some Marvel Mystery Oil (heard of people getting good results) to try and help with that tic. Heavier oil would definitely help, don't know if that route would be recommended by many

As far as brakes, just don't waste big bucks on brand names such as Powerslot and Hawk. I've read of people expecting big results but not getting anything better than mediocre. NAPA is cheap as all heck if you're looking to save money. I haven't changed out my brakes yet so I can't give you a personal reccomendation

Can I get NTK at any local stores? Like let's say Pep-boys since I have a 90$ gift card to there?

I know autozone doesn't carry NTK. And I just checked the pepboys website and looks like they only carry Bosch o2 sensors, which are not recommended for our jeeps. I'm not sure about others like NAPA or oreilly. But shop around!

For oil, do u live in a cold area? Unless your buy sae 30 / 40 every oil you buy will start out thin aka 5w-30- 10w30 , the first number is cold viscosity, and if you live in a cold area the thinner usually the better, and the second number is hot viscosity, I use rotellea 5w40 ,

Rounded up, if your lights are 100 watt, they pull 9 amps each. If I have done the math correctly, you could run all 5 for 45 amps on 10 feet of #10. I WOULD NOT, But if my math is correct, you could. Personally, I would run at least 2 circuits up there. 2 on one and 3 on the other. That said with the help of a relay or 2, they would still act like they were on switch.

Keep in mind you will be dropping at least 30% of your alternator max output across these lights, dont be surprised if you burn things up.
