wiring fan switch???
converting my 90 renixCLOSED to a OPEN cooling system(92-01) and i have everything needed(rad, heater valve/fitting,92 thermostat housing, coolant bottle, etc)using the stock elec fan from my 90(tested and works as supposed to)ive read the lunghd write up and am not clear on the wiring/splicing of the 81-82 corvette temp sender that i bought off ebay,do i just add 2 spade connectors extend a set of wires, then splice into my old fan switch wiring(male end)then plug into the engine side( female end) on my 90? will this opperate the same with the elec fan comingon/being powered with the key on,as it was stock? if not how would i wire in a 'toggle switch' to control the elec fan manually?also where/how woul i mount my coolant jug( stock 92)?

I bought a universal jug from the parts store and just mounted it where it would fit. As far as the fan switch I still have the stock one in my radiator since the open radiator I bought had a spot for it. All the switch does is closes a ground circuit so I simply tapped into the switchs wires and added a toggle. The toggle just simply closes the ground circuit making the fan come on.

Did you get the thermostat housing too? If so I'd just put the switch you got in the hole the housing has. It's a 3/8" npt so you can adapt it to whatever it needs to be. And the after that I would just take your factory wiring cut out the switch and then solder new wires leading to your new switch if that makes sense? Can't really get pictures of my wiring job because I tucked it away under the air box.

ok yeah this is more or less what i was planning/wanting to do(seemed the easiest)so just to be clear(sorry for my unknowing!)so i can splice/solder into the existing fan switch(from rad)wiring from my corvette switch leads i made with spade connectors? this will opperate like the original fan switch? or do i still need to add a toggle switch?
