Default will a t-case drop fix this situaion?

i know stuff similar has been posted before just wanted to make sure. thanks.

Ok so I Recently rebuilt the rear end and driveline of my jeep. Right now it has 3" lift springs (front), and 3.5" leafs in rear, stock shackle, d35 was swapped for a 8.25, I swapped drive shafts as well, no sway bars, 32” km2s, jeep rides like shat on road....

Any who; I wanted to make sure my diagnosis jives with everyone else’s (majority at least)....

I just swapped the axles and with that bought the 3.5" leafs... when under hard braking from higher speeds to a stop the jeep pitches forward and in my mind I see the drive angle increasing from this in turn causing the loud vibrations to come from my driveline that I’m currently experiencing. I don’t feel them in pedal only shift **** hence why I assume the drive line has the vibration.

I would like to stay cheap and buy a cross member with a built in drop from rusty’s.

I figure this should work because when I had just an add a leaf and the stock warn out leafs on the jeep it didn’t have an issue what’s so ever.

It gets wheeled as hard as the lift and tires will let it.

thanks for the help and please chime in if you have bought the crossmember from rustys that has the drop built in already.

shim the rear and do a 1" t case drop... fixed my problems

also you say it rides like S#i$ right?

if you over tighten the leafs/shackles it will ride harsh

also you said NO sway bars... removing the rear is OK, but removing the front is not the best idea on the street

thanks for the replys,

i have a hard time imagining the shim will work, to me it seems it would just increase my angle even more, but ill try it.

my pyle sees more trail than road; sway bars are scary on the trail.

Are there torque specs for the shackles? I was a bit disappointed my manual didnt have any.

Now is that both bolts? Shackle to leaf spring and shackle to body mount?

You can use shims in either direction to either raise or lower your angle just depending on which direction you place them
