Will a budget boost work with a 4.5 inch lift on a 98xj with out causein probs ??
Im have a rusty shackle and space budget boost and im thinking buying a RC 4.5 lift since its all spring and mo shackle in rear for lift it was my choice because i wanna keep the bb. I am wondering if the upper and lower control arms that come with the rc lift will work stacked with the bb with out binding. And will a slip yoke elm built for a 4.5 inch lift work stacked with the bb also?

not sure on the control arms but if your going to 6.5 inches of lift your going to want long arms or control arm drop brackets. and yeah the SYE will be the same. your going to want longer shocks and longer brakelines as well

Well i do a lot of riding and where im at most trails are littered with mudholes but my goals to clear 33 12.50 with some flex i found a rc 6.5 kit with sye for 1200$ so im probably gonna go with it and ditch the budget boost.

I agree, 6.5" on 33's leaves you with way too much room between the wheel & fenders. Once I cut my fenders & install my Bushwackers I feel my XJ will look just right...

i just put mine on 4.5 re coils, 2 inch coil spacers, RE 3.5 leafs, RE boomerang shackle, and i also have the RC longarm kit i was hoping it would sit level without the factory coil isolator because i wanted only 5.75 inchs of lift for better stability, but it didnt sit level so i got stuck with having to run 6.5. currently im running 33s it looks good, but needs 35s. but yes you can run the spacers and springs together, the only issue that you will run into is a harsh ride with the short arms.
the RC longarm kit is not bad, but if froelich suspension had been in business when i was looking for a kit i would have bought his or seriousoffroads setup.

Well I want enough lift where I can clear 33's with out hacking away at my fenders only thing I might do is ditch the fender flares that's why I'm going with 6.5 plus I'm running 2011 rubicon wheels so there's very little backspacing so when taxes get back I'm gettin a 6.5 rc longarm kit
