Default Wider stance, what wheels?

Ok, I'm new to jeeps. Not vehicles, just jeeps. I bought a 2000 xj for a daily driver. It has no lift no larger tires, it's just bone stock. For now I'd like to keep it that way aside from I would like to widen the stance of it a little. I'm also not a huge fan of these wheels. So my question is, what wheels will fit and give me a wider stance. I've seen everyone talk about 4" or 3 3/4 backspacing. What wheels have this? Any examples/ adds? This is a very budgeted build so I wanna keep it cheap. Ie Craigslist or eBay. Thanks!

You want a rim with 3.75 backspacing if you want stance.

Jegs.com has d window style and the soft 8 style for 44 bucks each. That's about the cheapest your gonna find. I have the jegs d windows on my jeep...

Ok. so you wanna keep it stock for now, but when you do lift it, how high? I ask this because I don't think you wanna buy rims 2x.

Need info. are you wheeling her? if you are i woudn't go any less than 4.5" bs. you will prolly rub with flares.
are you trimming fenders? if you are.. 4"bs would be good. when i was stock height and stock flares i put 4" bs silver soft 8s. but i knew i wanted to trim my fenders.

My final goal was to be where i am now. which is 4.5" lift with 33s and 15x10s with 3.74 bs.

So i bought rims twice in a year.

We need to know what ALL your plans are exactly. way to many variables.

here's mine in stages.

wider rims on a stock jeep, you may have to trim your fenders and/or flares.
and most rims that are 3.75 back spacing will be minimum 8 inches wide.

or your other option is wheel spacers if you want to run your own stock wheels.

I want to keep the same tire size and I don't wanna go more than 2 or 3 on lift. I have an s10 for a project vehicle so I don't wanna go very custom or dump a bunch of money into it. It's gonna be a lightly wheeled daily driver and that's it. Hoping to cut as little as possible. Just want a wider stance for looks and a little stability.

So you don't plan on changing the tire size from stock? If you plan on doing something simple like a 31x10.50 in the future I would suggest 15x8 w/ 3.75bs.
