What's the little adjusty screw thingy I've heard of called?
So, I've been trying to decide on a lift and tire setup...Can't make up my mind...Looking at pros and cons on lifts anywhere from 2-4 inches. Anyways, it looks like in 2009 or so, they amended the state law which prohibited tires larger than 2 sizes over stock. In other words, I can run 255's LEGALLY NOW! YIPPEE! Haha...sarcasm...NOT! Since I'm allowed to run bigger tires now, the problem lies in yearly inspections...Tires aren't allowed to rub control arms at full lock...I thought I heard somewhere of a screw you can lengthen or tighten or something, which reduces turning radius but eliminates the rubbing? Anyone know about this? Does it work for huge tires like 32's (slight sarcasm) without ruining the turning radius too much? I would just get wheel spacers or wheels with better backspacing, but the tires can't stick out past the flares AT ALL...So my options are...small tires, or change/adjust the little screw thing...Thanks!
Merry Christmas!
