I know it will rub.. but where? front bumper? front flares? rear?

I would just like to know so I have an idea ahead of time

It will rub the fender flares in the wheel wells back and front. It may even rub the LCA's turn to turn. There are lots of threads on here that explain where to cut them and how...Tj

they are actually 3.75" BS


which option would make the most sense... this is a road vehicle BTW, in Missouri (if that effects the law on fender flares)

Option 1: remove stock flares and CUT CUT CUT


Option 2: add a home made coil spacer up front and a lengthened shackle in the rear (should help rear articulation and pinion angle as well) most likely adding 1"-1.5" to the 3" I already have (but I will need to make lower control arms)

option 3: TJ fender flares and cut the fenders open to match

you could put them on and see where it rubs
I have 32 x 11.5 tyres on the stock rims on a 2 inch lift and on the road it only rubs the front at full lock and the back when theres 3 guys in the back

just putting some pics up to show were it rubs on 33x10.5 on 3" skyjacker lift, uncut fenders

sence then i cut front fenders about 1.50 inches and put a bb on it from rusty's and now it doesnt rub with front sway bar still connected unless at full flex
but my rear sway bar is unconnected and it rubs in rear so now i need to cut rear fenders but you have to be carefull of the spot welds

considering I drove around with 3" of lift and 285/75's with the stock flares I say just mount the tires. The rear will only rub at full flex the front will rub going over bumps but you could fix that and never even remove the stock flares.

If you plan on keeping your stock fender flares then make sure to bump stop. Oversized tires will knock the stock fender flares off the jeep and bend the mounting brackets making it nearly impossible to put the flares back on. Other option would be to install aftermarket fender flares which would also increase body to tire clearances. Good ones (like the ones in my avatar) are trail tough and designed to look right on Cherokees with typical oversized tires & backspacing.
