Default What way do you fold your sway bar?

Looking some advice. Today I made a home made sway bar disconnect. Much the same as this except instead of using pins I just used a bolt & nut on the bottom that can slide out.

My question is what are you supposed to do with the sway bar when it's disconnected?

This is the best place I can put it here:

I just pushed it up and found a bolt that pushed nice and tight into a hole in the frame that will hold the bar.

Would this be OK or am I going to catch it and break it? Seems to me like it might get in the way but I'm not sure... just wanted to check with you guys

235/75/15's and 3in spacer on the front, stock back spacing.

Mine is held up by zip ties so I'm sure yours will be fine. It's made it through 3 full day trips. May not hurt to secure it to the bolt just in case.

Thanks bud. I'll stick a zip tie or two round it for good measure

Was concerned that the wheel could somehow catch it on full articulation and steering lock or something.

It probably will catch. That's why jks a quality disconnects folds so it's out of the way from the tire

Yeah, nice piece of kit. I've looked at them before and would love a pair but the are unbelievably expensive to get over here
