Bolting up my 3" lift this weekend and I'm still undecided what tires to order this week. I'm going 31s with 15 inch rims but I'm not sure whether to go 10.50's or 12.50's. I have always liked wider look but I would rather something that performs better than it looks. I'm leaning toward tsl radials. I was very pleased with them on my land cruiser. This is my daily driver so I don't want to get straight mudders that are gunna wear out right away. What are y'all running? Want something that will wear well but willin to compromise so they will still get down off road. Pics would be nice too.

My XJ is a DD so I went with the Goodyear Duratrac's 31x10.5xR15. I was like you and wanted my tires to last longer then a straight mudder when introduced to pavement. I have taken them through over a foot of snow with no chains, mud, gravel, and normal dirt trails and they have preformed outstandingly. Especially in the snow I was shocked to how well they handled it.
Heres a video of them in the snow,

Duratracs
I swear by my Duratracs. this is the secon set i've had. first set were 235's. I had 42k miles on them when i gave them to my buddy. They still had... no lie; half tread left. I rotated them and maintained the air pressure.
As said before, awesome at whatever i threw at them. Never had them offroad.
Now i have 33x12.50 Duratracs and i lovem.

I too swear by my duratracs. I had a set of 32" ones on the old jeep and put a set of 31" ones on my "new" XJ. I've tried just about every snow tire and these are by far the best ever, even without studs. Even in snow up to the bumpers as long as you keep your foot on the gas, they just keep churning you along. All the siping and the slightly softer rubber compound makes them sticky on slickrock too. I leave them on year round and they are just as good as any mud tire I've ever had in dirt, gravel, rocks and mud. The 32s were a year old when I sold the jeep and they still looked brand new so as long as you take care of em they are durable too. Proper pressure and regular rotation are key to making them last.
