Mine stays right under 200. 210-220 isn't too hot but does seem a little high though. Maybe your thermostat is due for a replacement?

I might try a new thermostat just to see. she normally has been sittin flat on 210 but just recently started to go to 220 and then back down

oh and my XJ is a 2000 model if it makes a difference.

My jeep also heats up REALLY quick, like in the matter of a few minutes its allready at operating tempature. didn't know if this was normal for a jeep
