Question What Sized Tubing to Use For an Exo?

Couldnt find it in my search so i have a tubing question. With stiffeners & aftermarket bumpers F&R installed, i wanna start welding tube to them starting by connecting the bumpers to the rock rails by lining the wheel wells so that when i flex it out, the tires will hit the tubing & then ill move on to an exo cage.

I used 1.5" quarter wall for my one ton linkage & panhard bar, but i think quarter wall is overkill & will be tough to bend into shape. The question is, whats the best sized tubing to use just roll bar tubing?

Thanks!

1.5" x .120 is typical for rollcage.

I used 1" x .120 wall tubing for my fender rails;
welded bumper-sliders-bumper; seems to work well, not too ugly to look at, and trust me - it has saved my fenders a number of times. (works well for 'bumpstops' also - just like what you're thinking).

1.75"x.120 HREW tube. I work at a steel warehouse. Lots of offroad companies buy this stuff by the bundle for building buggies, sand rails, cages, etc...
