What size NPT fittings cylnder Head Coolant Temp and Oil Pressure senders
I want to add alternate engine coolant temp and oil pressure gauges. I am looking to pull the cylnder Head temp sender out and install a T-fitting to add the auto meter sender. Same with the oil pressure...pull the factory sender off and install a T-fitting to add another sender for the alternate gauge.
The autometer senders are 1/8NPT I believe. Does anyone know what size the factory sensors are?
im thinking the oil sender may be a 1/8npt?
Asking so that I can have everything on hand before I go to install as these T-fittings I’m not sure I can find locally.
Reason for the supplemental gauges are I have already replaced senders and gauge cluster gauges with mopar parts and temp is still racing 25-30deg high and oil pressure is erratic..possibly a ground somewhere? IDK and I’m tired of searching just want to try some alternate with all new wires and senders and see if I get a good reading.
last question. 1994 Jeep XJ. If I disconnect oil pressure sender and coolant temp sensor and use the autometer senders in lue of the factory ones will it screw with the PCM/Computer? Or will I get any CEL on the dash?
Thanks for the help in advanced

I find that sometimes if you look up the parts you are asking about you can find the info you need. I am planning to put a mechanical gauge to my '00 to see what my oil pressure really is. Looking up the sensor they listed the size. So I now know which one of those many fittings in the kit to use. I know that '96 downs are a little different. I use Napa online just cause I am more familiar with how to navigate their website. So I am thinking that this is what you are looking for.

Best to double check my findings though.
