What size lift is this?

First off I'm new to the forums, from the Chicagoland area. I've previously had a cj and a zj. This is my first xj. Anyways, trying to figure out what size lift I have. I was told a Rough Country 6.5 when I picked it up, a buddy says it looks like a 4.5. I'm on a 32x11.50 tire with no trimming, what do you guys think? (the front swampers are coming off today to put the matching dynapro's on) (Edit: Just noticed the lift and tire thread, sorry for posting a new thread feel free to delete if necessary.)

6.5 sounds about right..May have sagged down a bit.

Thanks for the quick response. It appears to be sitting level in that photo, but actually the front has a slight rake to it. Debating on running a .75 spacer to level it out. Probably pick up a pair of cad brackets as well.

I say save your pennies for long arms.. CAD's will be a nice upgrade..but still wont do what long arms will.

6.5" looks and sounds about right. I agree with XJ88, save for the long arms, but before you spend extra dough think about what kind of wheeling you want to do with it. Mild with mud and mall crawling or running rocks...that will help you determine where your dollars are best allocated.

Long Arms or CADs will both do. But like Dignified said, if you are really gonna abuse it in the hills long arms are the better choice. Something to think about if you go with CADs; I have heard that the longer arms that come with complete kits like RE or RC might be TOO long to work with your CADs. You may need to purchase shorter adjustable arms as well if so.

My arms are adjustable, I live in Chicago there's not too many places around to wheel. Closest is The Cliffs about 1.5 hours away. The Jeeps primarily my daily driver/weekend warrior, I'll probably just go with the CAD's for the time being.
