I'm looking into racks and I think I may go with the surco safari rack. Is there another that's comparable or better that you all may suggest? Post some pics of your racks too.

Ive ran the surco rack.its ok but is made cheaply, and the aluminum floor slats are garbage. Spend a bit more money and get something that will last and is quality.

1. There is no roof rack that I like. Roof racks get in the way and you don't need anything on the roof anyway.
2. JESUS! What's the point of that hunk of steel(?) hanging off the front of your Jeep?

i beat the crap out of my surco. smashed trees with it, overloaded it... stayed in one piece til i sold it to a guy when i parted my old jeep and it melted when his jeep went on fire.
so if you want something fire resistant, i'd look elsewhere. but overall i'd recommend it.

not stealing the thread...
bumper was build around a 12000lb winch (Waaaay overkill) so i sold it and kept the bumper, just haven't had a chance to remod the bumper yet.
plus it looks twce as bad due to the angle of the pic. kinda like what you guys do in the bathroom mirror to make it look bigger.

I think im going to skip the rack this time and go for a super low profile cage that has a built in LED bar guard. Just something that will sort of wrap over the top of a light bar but not be sticking way up in the air.
