I will be doing a rear shock upgrade soon, new mounts on a 8.8 axle, open to ideas that's going to perform on and off the trail. I have found very little info on running my mounts both on the same side of my axle, either front or back of axle, lemme know your thoughts. Thanks

I was running some bilstein 6100's. stock mounted body location. axle mounts on opposite sides of the tubes
bilstein 5100's should do great. mine were about 21" extended but my mounts were a little high. 6" of lift (damn relocation brackets)

I'm running 4.5" of lift, I can run it the stock way, I was told that some folks were running theirs on one side or the other, I would like to know the benefits of that before I weld the new mounts on. Otherwise I will keep their position where it is now.

Running the lower shock mounts on opposite side of the axle is supposed to be better for axle wrap.
