Personally I am going with an aussie in the front. The back I am leaving open until I can get an air or mechanical locker. A lot of guys are doing this and say it still is great offroad but has better street manners. Especially in the snow.

Loved my Aussies and my current Spartan works great. Spartan is easier to install, barely, and is louder. Aussies tend to be on back order most of the time too. Both have worked great for me unlike some others I've ran.

I've never ran Spartans and what has kept me away from them is they won't warranty their product if you run greater then 32 inch tires. Aussie on the other hand will. In fact Aussie claims there is no horsepower or tire size they can't handle. I'm not sure if that proves that Aussies are stronger then Spartans but I chose to go with the better warranty especially since I run 35s

I run a Spartan, and love it! It is very quiet and works as well as the high dollar jobs do. Havent you ever seen 300? Spartans are badass!

They both have a defect warranty not a "i broke this locker doing stupid stuff so give me a new one warranty". Aussie has a 2 year versus spartan 1 year defect warranty. Thats after you spend the money to send it back in for either company to inspect it to determine if it was a defect or abuse. Been there done that with warranties .
