Default What lift do I have? How many inches?

Sorry in advance since I know its been covered and people here get real touchy about 'chewing their cabbage twice', but I searched and could not re-find the previous posts regarding the measurement of your true lift front and back. My question is: What is the measurement between the axle and the frame (or whatever) that shows what your true lift is? I think my my front lift and rear lift are different and need empirical evidence.

If you promise not to complain about all the previous body of work that I could access regarding this subject if only I were to search for it, I'll promise not to complain about the supposed serious discussions under stupid titles like "what I did today". You work on titling and tagging protocol and I'll be glad to work countless hours researching specific posts.

I actually stumbled upon this post a year ago but damned if I can find it now!

Do not reply unless you can answer the question of the first paragraph, Then and only then can you answer to the second. I don't have the time or patience otherwise. Don't even think about responding to the third paragraph. There is nothing more to say about it.

Thank you.

If you still have the factory flares it's easy. Measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the flare. Then, subtract 17.5 inches from the front & 17 from the rear & this will be your lift height.

Doing that wouldnt be acurate unless you still have factory tires too.

center of the wheel. Tires don't matter. Measure from factory flare to center cap of rim
