So just curious , and I'm sure there is already a thread like this .... I'm just curious what gears people are Rollin with their 35's ..... I've got 4:10's just swapped em in , haven't been on trail yet with em ..... But it just feels like I should be lower ..... Your thoughts?

I run 4.56's, its ok. No real complaints but wish I had 4.88's.... (auto)
4.10's are good for 31-32's IMO
(33's if manual but would still recomend 4.56's)

Only reason I did 4:10 cus that's what my 8.8 axle had so just geared to match .... But with 35's don't think will help all that much , still gonna have to get on pedal

3.73 Gears
4.0 : 1 TC
AX 15 5spd
Nitro
3.83 x 4 x 3.73 = 57.1: 1 crawl
5.38 x 2.72 x 3.73 = 56 : 1
4.0 : 1 TC

my xj was auto on 4:10s and 34s.. it sucked. sucked gas, and sucked on power.
my zj was on 4:56s and 35s. i got about 12-13 mpg, but it had *****. but that was prob due to the 5.9 swap lol.
so 35s on an auto xj = 4:88s for sure. manual = 4:56.
i understand why you did 4:10s tho.. i did the exact same thing when i built my xj w/an 8.8

Yup prob have to swap out front and go to 5:13 or lower if I can .... Dunno but think 8.8 can only go as low as 5:13 ..... Figure that out when front swap comes along
