Default what control arms for 7.5" lift?

I have some 7.5" coils from RE that i want to install on my 99 XJ. I wanted to go with RE control arms but dont know to go with fixed or adjustable control arms. Which would be better? Also RE has a trac bar for 4.5"-6" lift without the drop bracket. Would i be ok using that same trac bar with a drop bracket?

You need to go with a higher quality set of control arms a set of HD Adj. U/LCA's, as for the track bar get one designed for the amount of lift you have not one designed for a smaller lift.

At 7.5 inches of lift you're gonna want to step up to long arms. Adjustable arms mounted in the stock location will not do much to improve the performance and ride quality.

What would the ride differance be? Never really looked into the long arm but I am considering it now.

Or the cheap route with drop brackets, but my vote is long arms, theyre amazing. Im at a lil over 4" with them. Matched with some 5100s, the ride is amazing and soo much flex haha

im a little new to the lifting part of the suspension. On the rear I did a basterd pack, chevy stock shackles, and a relocation kit. why? cause i had the parts there and went along with it. now im try in the process of ordering the front lift parts and if i go with the long arm kit what would i need? i already have the 7.5" coils. this is what i got out of the rear.

Measure from the axle tube to the Frame, stock is 6" in the back 6.5" in the front, anything more is lift. Going that high youll need a SYE, likely longer drive shafts, the long arms, Track bar, longer shocks, brake lines. Going that big leads to a lot of work.

i thought i would go a little high but didnt expect i would go that high. i will check to see what the measurement is from the axle tube to the frame. if i have to get rid of the coils i will. ive been searching for a long arm kit but most of them come with the rear springs. dont need the rear lift.

Lots of it, and knowing where to spend it at on your lift when you go that high.

What size tire are you trying to run? What kind of wheeling do you do? 7.5" seems a little high to me but it all depends on what you will be using it for.

You can order just the long arm upgrade from a lot of companies. Rough Country, Rubicon Express, Serious Offroad, rustys, clayton, b lee, rock krawler, tnt, tons of places sell just the long arm ungrade. Or you can build you own. I had a buddy do mine. Paid 400

7.5" of lift is pretty unnecessary. If I were you I'd drop it down.

To safely achieve that much lift would require:
-long arms or adj. uppers and lowers with drop brackets
-OTK steering and an OTA track bar
-SYE with custom length driveshafts
-and a lot more

What size tires do you want to run? The biggest size that is common on stock axles is 35s, which you can clear with 4.5"-6" of lift. The sensible thing to do is to run the least amount of lift for the tire size you want to run.

I have 7 inches of lift. I have RC control arm drop brackets and I have a Kevin Offroad Track bar.
