the flowmaster 44 and 40 seem to be a big hit with most people from the research i have done but ive also seen some people say they like glasspacks. What it boils down to is your preference, ive been looking in to getting a super 44 myself

It's all preference. Each one sounds a tad different. Heard a lot of great things about the super 44 though. I prefer the sound of either the Magnaflow or Borla muffler. That's just me though

Haha yeah i know what you mean. The only videos I could also find were taken on a cell phone and not the best quality. But based on those videos, Magnaflow sounded deeper than any Flowmaster, which, like I said before, I prefer. Just me though!

I've got the gibson cat back exhaust and I love it. Sounds tough but not to loud that it's annoying. I also put a high flow cat on from magnaflow. Couldn't be happier. I've had them both on for about 3 months now and they sound better now then when it was new

Then save up and get the pipe to go with it. A muffler alone won't do a whole lot. You need to match it with a pipe. I got the Magnaflow muffler and the 2.5" pipe for $156 shipped. Unless you are in dire need of a muffler then sure get a cheap one but if you can hold off until you can get a kit then just be patient

Picked up the super 44 and 2.5" tailpipe from performance curve a while back and love it. Beastly low growl at idle and sounds like the best combination of heaven and hell at WOT. I won't run anything besides Flowmaster and i've run Magnaflow before and Magnaflow is GOOD, I just prefer the sound of FM instead. That being said, it is very loud. If you're not into that and setting off car alarms the 40 should be a bit quieter.

This won't be that popular, but is there such a thing as a performance muffler that still muffles? Better flow appeals to me, but I often have to peel out of here in the middle of the night for work and would rather not wake up the family or all the little kids living around here.

yea its already on there, i know its crazy but.....i use me jeep as a jeep not to just drive around trying to make it sound like a v8. i would rather spend 20 bucks on a muffler then 150. all my cash goes into suspension and tires lol
