what about cut and weld?
i have read plenty on cut and folding rear lower quarter panels, but mine are to far gone......does anyone have a write or know how on how to cut and weld in new metal? this is my first time so be gentle on me!!!

Replacing the metal with something a little thicker than stock may work in your favor. The reason is because it may be easier for you to weld thicker material to thinner.
Or you could simply tack weld it all around. As Kippo said, it's a straight forward process. Mine were too rusted to work with, so I had no choice:

I think you can also buy that section complete from a lot of websites and weld it in but that kind of blows the budget.
