Welding floors.
So I am looking to weld my floors back up that is not the issue. I dont know how these gas lines work at all. Can I just plug one end somehow and pull it down and away or should I remove my entire tank?
Is there another thread about gas tanks I tried to search but I am not very good at finding the thread I am looking for.

I've had good luck with a piece of steel plate and a welders blanket. if you pop the clips that hold the lines to the sub frame and then zip tie the piece around the lines and then wrap it all with the welders blanket youll never have heat or slag reach the lines, just be cautious and move the piece as you go. this works well for when you're cutting the rotted metal out as well.
It all depends on where you're patching though. if you're doing a patch above the tank then yeah be safe and drop the tank.
