di-electric grease on all TB electrical connections, fuses, plugs, wires, and cap (coils if it's a 00-01) if you plan on going through deep water/mud

Just go to your local parts store and get a thing of di-electric. it should be with all the RTV silicones and such. remove your distributor cap and put a little along the edge, so it has a seal when you put it back on. then do each end of the plug wires. Pop each fuse out and put a small amount on those. All the TB senors, do those. Pretty much anything electrical can use the stuff and it really helps keeps water out.

ive tried everything to waterproof em, ive done the dielectric grease, and encased the entire goddang thing in rtv silicone, i dont know how the hell they keep failing in the water but they do. i just pick up a few everytime i go to the junkyard, and keep 4-5 of em in my glovebox. Just Expect Every Problem. lol.

97+'s run great with no TPS plugged in, but wont shift. soon i'll just get a standalone trans shift congtroller for 180-220 bucks and stop putting TPS's in it
